Marimekko – Ruudut Blanket 130x180cm

Marimekko asked four designers to create an abstract nature themed pattern using paper cut-outs for an ensemble representing the multifaceted nature of Marimekko. The Ruudut (squares) print is a collage based on the sketches received from the designers.

Made from cotton, this blanket features the Ruudut pattern and a jacquard knit. The blanket edges have small black and white fringes.

70% of the cotton used in this product is recycled cotton.

Marimekko are on a mission to increase the share of long-lasting and sustainable materials in their products and constantly test and develop new, lower-impact practices in their production process.
