Marimekko – Bord Oiva / Pepe 15x12cm

This Marimekko Oiva small plate is made of white stoneware and features the colourful bird Pepe pattern. The plate is dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer proof.

Designed by Maija Isola in 1970, the fun Pepe pattern depicts two happy parrots having a chat on a tree branch. Maija Isola’s artwork covers an amazingly wide range of motifs and design techniques. She drew her  inspiration from traditional folk art and modern visual art alike, from nature and her countless trips around the world.
