Haarlem based artist and fashion illustrator Ella Scholtens produces original one off ink based fashion portraits exclusively for us at Ekster & Jay that we showcase in store and now online. Ellas work often features on TV and various publications such as VT Wonen.
Using Indian Ink, watercolour paint or whatever she tends to experiment with at the time and working on a beautiful artistic whim, she produces stunning quality portraits that resemble individual real women and her signature negative space allows the viewer to fill in the missing brush strokes to form the artwork in a dream like quality. We adore Ella’s work and our clients from all over the world are extremely delighted owning a true original from Ella Scholtens.
The artwork is framed using a special developed hanging system from Danish brand Moebe
